As a mixed media artist Barr Lewis feels the freedom to pursue and explore many media and techniques. Her reliefs are created using a joint compound, most often Polyfilla®. An all-seeing, all-knowing consciousness inherent in all of us, portrayed frequently by the eye, is a recurring theme in her works. (Collage, Mixed Media, Oil, Acrylic) |
Gail Miller, one of the UK's most original artists, creates funky contemporary artwork. Her fascination with bold colours and fluid, expressive shapes and line are evident in her unusual fine art style work which features bold neon abstracts, sinuous nudes, outrageously colourful still life paintings and funky sea creatures (and other animals). |
Lydia R. Watson
Based in New Jersey, artist Lydia Watson enjoys experimenting with diverse mediums. Watson studied at Nevads Art Studio and Ducret School of Art, and has shown her art work as far afield as Bejing, China and numerous venues in her home state |

Susan Reynolds says that some of her most successful paintings are those that caused argument about just WHAT the heck that picture showed. The textures and blends are achieved by applying assorted materials (fabric, wood, netting, waxed paper, foil) on top of the paint/ ink/ etc & removing them when the piece is dry or at a stage during the drying process. In this way the image is literally coaxed from the background.
